RPM removal error

Hi All,

I have one RHEL5, 64-bit server,
I want to remove some rpm but it giving some error.

# rpm -e glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6

error: "glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6" specifies multiple packages

when I am running
#rpm -qa , output is :-

glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6
glib2-2.12.3-2.fc6

please anyone give the solution.

--erase with --allmatches?

How come you've got Fedora Core 6 pkg in rpm on a RHEL5 system???
When you recover, try

rpm --rebuilddb
