Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3
kernel: 2.4.21-15.ELsmp
you are aware that "Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 3"
is no longer supported
Red Hat retired it in October 2010 ,end of standard life cycle
it is past " End Of Life "
from a search of google for that error
( something you should DO --- without the "" )
"relocation error: /lib/i686/librt.so.1: symbol __pthread_clock_settime "
it looks like a mix of old and new(er) versions of some things
librt is built for a DIFFERENT version of glibc
if you are paying red hat for the EXTENDED life support ( this goes to 2013 ) then contact red hat
but seeing as rhel3 is End of Life ????
have the "higher ups" buy RHEL 6.2 and install a modern operating system
