Rhel6 gui


Hi ,

I obtained the RHEL6 64 bit version.I want to go for the GUI of this.
Once I tried it'll prompt for a error(Attached) get stucked.

How do i obtain the GUI of my installed server

I don't see anything attached to this. Include the errors in [ CODE ] tags (without the spaces) with your message, if you could.

I couldnt find the mentioned log file. I seach for this and nothing displayed.

The screengrab you attached seems to show a system that hasn't finished booting.

install Gnome with yum just as you would for KDE or xfce

from this list

yum grouplist 
--- install the Gnome group --
yum groupinstall " Gnome Desktop Environment"
check the list i may have miss spelled it
i am running OpenSUSE at the moment and not CentOS

and one more thing
READ THE MANUAL !!!! this IS IN IT !!!
red hat has made a BUNCH of docs for almost all if not ALL things
they are on the red hat web site
