RHEL 5 PXE Server configuration
I have to install Fedora Core 9 on at least 50 computer machines(clients).
I want to make unattended network installation where my Fedora files will be kept on an RHEL 5(Server)machine. How can I configure my RHEL 5 to PXE install these 50 clients with KickStart? What all RPMs do i need and what all configurations are needed? |
This should get you on your way: How can I use a Pre Execution Environment (PXE) to install Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
The process really doesn't change much, if at all, for the various RHEL, Fedora, CentOS, ... releases. |
detailed explanations and configs (you need to be able to translate debian into rhel - which is very easy :) )
