Rename Logical Volume

Hello,
We have renamed our root vol from the default VolGroup00 to VG0. We made the changes to etc fstab and grub.conf. Now the system will not boot. We can get in via rescue disk to make any further changes. Do we also need to rebuild the initrd ?

You might as well post the before and after fstab and menu.lst or grub.cnf or whatever.

Unlikely you need to touch initrd.

show the output of following command

Quote:

#vgdisplay
#lvdisplay
#cat /etc/fstab.conf
#cat /etc/grub.conf

before made any changes
