Redhat Nash Kernel Panic


Hi all,
I've running redhat server under virtual machine. I'm facing kernel panic problem where it seems it having problems with the disk.

The picture is the screenshot of the problem. Please help me.

Is this RHEL, as in you are paying for support, or some other Red Hat based distro? If RHEL the best bet is probably asking them for support since you are paying for it.

Basically though it just looks like the disk can't be read. Can you get into single user mode and verify the disk? Can you boot to a bootable CD of any distro to verify the disk?

Is this a dedicated server having VM? and, are you running any high I/O utilizing resource in the server. The error clearly shows that the 'I/O resource 0x3F6-0x3F6 not free'.

currently the this server is not high utilization server and very seldom to used.
