Am a newbie , I would like to learn how to make a Debian Linux proxy server and firewall. I have tried to use the internet how-tos unfortunately they are using Red hat and It seem the document is also old, if someone has a recent clear Tutorial please help me.

A simple good search at google would give you the answer.

Usually configurations from others distros can apply with minor changes to debian. You can also use the man pages and look the docs.
