Red face RAID error

when i try to format a RAID partition , it gives the following error. Hoe can i solve it????

#mke2fs -j 8192 -R stride=16 /dev/md0
mke2fs: bad blocks count - /dev/md0

Your syntax looks incorrect. Try:

mke2fs -j -b 8192 -E stride=16 /dev/md0

See 'man mke2fs' for details.
