Raid Benchmark+Burnin
 

I need to make absolute sure my new hardware is as stable as possible, and I want to stress the sata system as much as possible.

iozone doesn't really seem to stress my raid array (4x640G raid0) very hard, nor did bonnie++ with the options I could figure out.

So does anyone know a way I can really stress my array to the breaking point. If any of the drives are going to fail I want them to fail now instead of later.

Why do I want to you ask? My last raid array (3x320 raid5) I built and a drive failed within days of normal use, and the replacement also failed after days of use. So instead of putting the new hardware into use right away, I'm doing a few days of stress testing to see what falls out.
