RAID 0 not mount


Disk /dev/md0 doesn't contain a valid partition table

Hi..

Please format the partition & then mount it...

mke2fs -j /dev/md0 ---> for ext3 partition

Ok, is there a problem in there somewhere?? You give no details, so that could be normal, or it might not be.

Did the disk EVER have a partition? Have you checked the system logs, to see if there was a hardware failure? Can you boot the system, and see the disk through BIOS? How about rescue mode, can you then see the disk/partitions??

Just giving a generic message with no other information is pointless.

That is a assuming that there never was a valid partition table/filesystem on the device... if not, blindly creating a filesystem will obliterate what was there previously and eliminate any possibility of recovery.

So, OP... was there any data on this device prior to the error?
