I had installed in my computer fetchmail and it worked well for a good time but it turns out that out of nowhere I started to get this error

Unknown login or authentication error on user1@dominio.com@box465.bluehost.com
Nov 6 11:05:09 zimbrasrv fetchmail[2194]: socket error while fetching from user1@dominio.com@box465.bluehost.com

the configuration as well as the credentials of the accounts are fine
any ideas?

Can you ask whether the mail server administrator changed the authentication method for users? Also, if your company uses some centralized user directory, is it possible that user passwords may expire from time to time (say, once or twice a year)?

If your mail server uses SSL, it might as well change the certificate.
