Question query over crontab


how to schedule shutdown every day using crontab

hi,

do you access cron via gui? or console? which distribution?

anyways the line you should add should be
"shutdown now" and configure your cron task to the time you would like it to be run.
for the crontab file this line:

<minutes> <hour> * * * shutdown now
