Hi,
I have migrated all Linux servers to use new the new DNS nameservers. Both new and old DNS nameservers are running on bind9.
I have updated the IPs in the /etc/resolv.conf and verify queries working by nslookup and dig. However, when I checked the queries logs, there are still servers querying the old DNS nameservers. What could be the issue?
No idea, since you tell us nothing about your environment. What kind/how many systems? Version/distro of Linux on the DNS servers? Internet-facing/firewalled/DMZ/internal only? Services running on those servers that are making the queries? Any applications that use DNS? Have you rebooted/restarted things like DHCP and the like, that may be looking at DNS??
Read the "Question Guidelines" link; without details we cannot help.
However, when I checked the queries logs, there are still servers querying the old DNS nameservers.
Depending on how you setup the nameservers, the logs will tell you which servers are still using old nameservers.
Then, look at configuration those clients and fix them.
