qmail problem
 
i have installed qmail with smtp,pop3d,deamontool,utcp-ip,fastforward and maildrop but i dont know how to configure DNS to send mails to the local area network??? and i have the following error

# telnet mail.myhostname.com 25

the output was :
telnet :mail.myhostname.com :temporary failure in name resolution
mail.myhostname.com:Host name lookup failure

and the control files were configured correctly as i think....
