Python


I want to take all the directory backup everyday. Can we write a script for the same in Python and execute in the Linux.

If yes how to execute it in server. and where do i save that program file and how to run the same everyday automatically.

wow, that's a HUGE jump there. You go from naming a random scripting language to writing and entire backup routine??

We really can't bridge that gap for you, it's not a reasonable request. There are MANY MANY backup solutions out there, amanda, bacula, rsync etc...

The ONLY reason I can think of for you to be arbitrarily specifying python and backup routines with no context is if you've been tasked with this as a college assignment or something, and we won't do your work for you.
