pure-ftpd only works with AutoRename = yes, NoRename = yes

I'm running Suse 10 server.

I can connect via my ftp client just fine with pure-ftpd running on the server.

However, if I set AutoRename to 'no', then I CANNOT connect to the server anymore via ftp.

The same thing happens if I set NoRename to 'no'.

Either setting, when set to no seems to prevent me from accessing the server.

Anyone have any ideas on what I have to do to allow users to rename and overwrite files on the server?
