Processes still running after logout using sudo

Hi guys..

I'm running some servers with ubuntu, debian. I havent tried yet in centos.

But after I logout and login later, I find the process still running in memory, that happened with a script I was running and with some tcpdupm trace, could this be because using sudo?

how do the commands look like? If there is a "&" at the end then they are not bound to the shell invoking them.

No, there is not &.

I think it happens when CTRL-Z is used instead of CTRL-C. But anyways I think when you close the session all the processes running(started under your console)should be terminated.
