problem with postfix server


postfix is simply refusing to run due to port 25 not being available for use...

normally i wouldn't complain about this but ps aux and even netstat and nmap are showing no other processes using port 25. the system im running this off of is a debian etch system, attached with this posting is the configuration and log.

You have two programs listening on port 25 in master.cf:

server1:25 inet n - n - - smtpd
smtp inet n - - - - smtpd
