problem with PasswordAuthentication and sshd_config (newbie)

I have recently bought my first VPS (running Debian 7 32bit Minimal) and am a novice on the subject.

Ive been trying to access it for the last 2 days and I don't understand what is wrong.

I'm expecting password prompt; I have console access and all I did was running updating and upgrading. Any thoughts?

Have you tried to restart sshd service? could you login to another user aside from root?
