I get a warning when restarting apache: Starting httpd: [Tue Sep 03 15:05:44 2013] [warn] NameVirtualHost *:80 has no VirtualHosts

this is httpd -S

Code:
[Tue Sep 03 15:08:19 2013] [warn] NameVirtualHost *:80 has no VirtualHosts
VirtualHost configuration:
wildcard NameVirtualHosts and _default_ servers:
_default_:443 li591-188.members.linode.com (/etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf:74)
*:80 is a NameVirtualHost
         default server gitlab.lime-engine.tk (/etc/httpd/conf.d/gitlab.conf:10)
         port 80 namevhost gitlab.lime-engine.tk (/etc/httpd/conf.d/gitlab.conf:10)
         port 80 namevhost www.lime-engine.tk (/etc/httpd/conf.d/virtual_hosts.conf:7)
         port 80 namevhost santiagodecuba.tk (/etc/httpd/conf.d/virtual_hosts.conf:19)
Syntax OK
Again, I get an error 500, but no error is logged in error_log file.

You get 500 error when tried to accessing which domain. And why you are having seperate conf file you can have one file and have all entry in that one single file rite?

Can you able to acccess your apache server using IP address.

The error 500 is for all domains. My friend (who manages the other domains) put gitlab in a different file, but dont know why. Also, our main domain is displayed when accesing by IP.

500 internal server error must be probably with the misconfigurations.Find the reason why apache its not logging.whther the error log points to the correct file in apache conf and also what distribution on linux are you running.Beacuse in debian or ubuntu you may need to run a2ensite.

Then please check by renaming the .conf files to .backup or any name, have only one .conf file and put all entry entries in that conf file and restart apache.refresh browser and check. But Please dont delete any files and make a note of permissions of all .conf files before renaming it.

Check the apache error_log to see what causes the 500 error.
Also since the main domain (default vhost) is accessible only by IP, your domains are not resolvable, so make sure that you have the correct dns data for them
