problem setting up web server some field dont showup on the page


It looks like I can't get php to communicate with apache, firefox displays a blank page on the website


this is what i get on /var/log/httpd/error_log on centOS 6.2

[root@Device-089566 Desktop]# tail -f /var/log/httpd/error_log

Create a very simple file called info.php like this:

<?php
phpinfo();
?>
put it in the root folder of your website, then go to http://your.website.com/info.php and if you still get a blank screen then you do have a PHP problem, if you get information then it's your other website PHP that's causing the problem.

Are you using PHP as a CGI or as an apache module?
