Prevent Mandriva 2008 to into powersave?

Hi

I am running my mailserver on Mandriva. But the computer keeps going into powersave and of course the mailserver is offline then.

I have tried turning off all powersaving options. But I must have missed something.

Can you help me have my Mandriva on 24/7 ?

Have you turned off the power settings in the BIOS? If not, start there. You enter the BIOS settings by hitting keys before booting starts, just after power on. Hardware varies, a lot of the BIOS's flash information on the screen about what key(s) to press. If you don't see it, consult the documentation for the system, or look it up on the manufacturers web site. You could also post the hardware you are dealing with, someone here may know how.

Yes the BIOS Powersave is also off. It's really strange that the server behaves like this.
