Question Postfix Require Helo Workaround

I use:
Code:
smtpd_helo_required = yes
Im my main.cf.
The problem I have to let one through. Here is the log file currently:
Code:
Oct 22 04:09:10 mail postfix/smtpd[16202]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from mail2.domainname.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]: 450 <xxx.domainname.com>: Helo command rejected: Host not found; from=<xxx@domainname.com> to=<myuser@mydomain.com> proto=ESMTP helo=<xxx.domainname.com>
Oct 22 04:09:10 mail postfix/smtpd[16202]: disconnect from mail2.domainname.com[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
So how can i set a rule above to allow "domainname.com" to bybass the hello check.
Thanx

You're probably getting blocked by the following rule in smtpd_helo_restrictions:

reject_unknown_helo_hostname (with Postfix < 2.3: reject_unknown_hostname)

Reject the request when the HELO or EHLO hostname has no DNS A or MX record.
The unknown_hostname_reject_code specifies the response code to rejected requests (default: 450).

You can either remove the rule from your main.cf or add check_helo_access hash:/etc/postfix/helo_access under smtpd_helo_restrictions and place it before reject_unknown_helo_hostname/reject_unknown_hostname. Then add the following to helo_access:

mail2.domainname.com OK

Then postmap helo_access and restart postfix. Now mail2.domainname.com will skip all subsequent helo rule checks in smtpd_helo_restrictions but any checks before it will still be checked.
