Exclamation postfix recipent aliases

Hi LQ!
My old address was previuosname@previoushostname.domain .
I have changed both username and hostname (still on the same machine and domain)
but i still get some mail delivered to the old recipient getting

> Relay access denied; error

Changing the aliases file to "previousname: actualname" didn't work .(offcourse!)
How could i work around this ?

You should use virtual rather than aliases for this. E.g.

virtual_alias_domains =
virtual_alias_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/virtual
In virtual:
Make sure that is not listed under any other address class,
such as mydestination and virtual_mailbox_domains.

If previoushostname isn't used elsewhere, you could still list it under mydestination and avoid using virtual maps, but that depends on your setup.
