Postfix not sending email

Hi all,

A developer has come to me asking me why his email sent via php are not being sent.

From the server I can use sendmail to send emails to my work email, home, and my email address on his domain.

In the header files there are 6 email addresses

1 me@domain1.com
2 admin@domain2.com
2 person1@domain2.com
3 person2@domain2.com
4 person3@domain2.com
5 person4@domain2.com
6 person5@domain2.com

Finally the reply from is admin@domain2.com

The email to me@domain1.com gets delivered and the others fail
Here is a snippet form the log file

Quote:
Mar 20 11:14:24 thebe postfix/qmgr[16307]: 142446CC03C: to=<person1@domain2.com>, relay=none, delay=101661, delays=101661/0.04/0/0, dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: lost connection with aspmx2.googlemail.com[209.85.135.27] while sending RCPT TO)
in mailq I have

Quote:
AF9326CC97A 3041 Fri Mar 20 07:15:02 admin@domain2.com
(delivery temporarily suspended: lost connection with aspmx2.googlemail.com[209.85.135.27] while sending RCPT TO)
person1@domain2.com
person2@domain2.com
person3@domain2.com
person4@domain2.com
person5@domain2.com

A35CC6CCA0F 26944 Fri Mar 20 10:33:03 admin@domain2.com
(mail transport unavailable)
person1@domain2.com
person2@domain2.com
person3@domain2.com
person4@domain2.com
person5@domain2.com
Can anyone give me suggestions as to why the email will only go one of the email address and no those on domain2?

The strange part is, I can use sendmail to send emails to those people on domain2

Are you relaying through googlemail? Is the mail that get's through local to the server?

I think you need to explain a bit more about what domains are hosted where, etc.

Both domains are using google apps and my personal email address that I tested it with is a gmail account.

postfix had domain1 as its $mydomain
So I assumed that could be why it was working for domain 1
However I have since created a reverse DNS for the server and emails appear to be coming through now to domain2, but the 800 odd emails that were in the queue are stuck there
