Postfix not receiving Gmail on dynamic IP without proper PTR

I've got a working Postfix setup on my laptop using a dynamic IP which receives mail perfectly from AOL/Yahoo/Hotmail/GMX/. Only Gmail fails to deliver.

Absolutely nothing turns up in my mail logs and I have smtpd_tls_loglevel = 3 in my file.

My first thought is that Gmail will not deliver mail to my IP because it's dynamic and/or has no proper PTR. Can anyone confirm this? ...before I start fiddling with my config file.

UPDATE: I found a workaround that may confirm that goodle will not deliver mail to a MX host/server on a dynamic IP with no PTR record.

I don't have a static ipv4 IP address so I used an ipv6 one that I have and added a PTR record to it. Then I updated the DNS records to include the ipv6 MX as a backup MX as follows: MX 10 <== dynamic ipv4 without PTR MX 10 <== static ipv6 with PTR

It works for me with Postfix.
