Hi all,
I ran into trouble with a newly configured Postfix...
When it starts the following warning appears:
postfix/qmgr[3936]: warning: connect to transport private/filter: No such file or directory
...and as a result of this...:
postfix/error[4047]: E4DD61834120: to=<info@domainname.gr>, relay=none, delay=4791, delays=4791/0/0/0.03, dsn=4.3.0, status=deferred (mail transport unavailable)

Any suggestions?

I had amavis-new as a content filter, but I commented the relevant line... (it makes no difference with or without: content_filter = amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024 )

does the mail originally go to localhost or a smarthost to relay??
postconf should tell you...
test connection to this host whatever it is on port 25 firstly....
