Postfix Mail Server: cant deliver mail in Users Inbox

Hi everyone
I have an issue with a Mail server i just set up, its on SUSE 10.3; running postfix + Dovecot + Squirrelmail.
Problem i have is that when i send mail to local accounts, its not delivered in the users InBox and neither does it return an 'undeliverable notice' to the sender;
When i use one of the local accounts to send to my yahoo, its ok. its delivered very well into my Yahoo inbox, when i reply from yahoo though, i doesn't get delivered and there is also no sign in the logs of any exchange activity btn my server and yahoo.
Secondly even when i send from the local account to another it doesnt deliver mail and in the logs its shows;
Jun 15 11:45:14 mail postfix/qmgr[16895]: C49F9197C244: from=<>, size=758, nrcpt=1 (queue active)
Jun 15 11:45:14 mail postfix/smtpd[23649]: disconnect from localhost[]
Jun 15 11:45:14 mail dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<sysadm>, method=PLAIN, rip=, lip=, secured
Jun 15 11:45:15 mail dovecot: IMAP(sysadm): Disconnected: Logged out
Jun 15 11:45:15 mail dovecot: imap-login: Login: user=<sysadm>, method=PLAIN, rip=, lip=, secured
Jun 15 11:45:15 mail dovecot: IMAP(sysadm): Disconnected: Logged out
Jun 15 11:45:15 mail postfix/smtp[23653]: connect to[]: Connection refused (port 25)
Jun 15 11:45:15 mail postfix/smtp[23653]: C49F9197C244: to=<>,[]:25, delay=1.1, delays=0.07/0/0.69/0.34, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 Ok. 4A34B878.000071FC)
I've tried 2 disable the firewall but there is no difference;

Any help is highly welcome

How do you know that mail isn't being delivered as opposed to not having, for example, squirrelmail incorrectly set up? Are you manually looking for the user mail files? Are you using mbox or maildir?

What happens if you send from local to local, just using the mail command from the command line? Can you show the log entries for that first please.
