postfix, dovecot - setup for Thunderbird with SASL - how ?

Hi all,

maybe somebody can help me to setup mail server on Debian 5 ?

I`m loosing control last time. I have found several tutorials, but it still doesnt work. Probably my fault or I have wrong tutorials.

I have used that tutorial:

Its quite simple. It seems to be that server is working. When I`m logging server has asked me for a password.

I`m puting a password and... Authentication failed.

I cant download and send messages using Thunderbird.

What should I configure in postfix and dovecot (with TLS or SSL) to be able to receive and send emails using Thunderbird ?

Maybe somebody can help me to setup mail server on the machine with multiple domains ?
