postfix & virtual aliases

Hi there,
I have postfix using virtual domains. It works perfect for almost 1 year

Now I want to make an alias. All e-mail to user1@domain1.com should be forward also to user2@domain2.com

Code:
#postconf -n | grep alias
newaliases_path = /usr/local/bin/newaliases
virtual_alias_maps = hash:/usr/local/etc/postfix/valias.txt

In /usr/local/etc/postfix/valias.txt I added:

user1@domain1.com: user2@domain2.com

When I run postalias valias.txt I get: postalias: warning: valias.txt, line 1: name must be local

How can I correctly set the alias?

Thanks

Forwarding isn't aliasing. Your alias file is only for local users, so the first column does not contain domain part, just the user part. If you want a copy, add multiple entries in the right side, you again and the remote address, e.g. "dave: dave davesotheraccount@somewherelse.com". Alternatively maybe you want a look at the always_bcc option? http://www.postfix.org/ADDRESS_REWRI....html#auto_bcc or maybe use good old procmail or a simple .forward file to do this.
