So, here I am trying to get a mail server running. I have gotten most everything finished, and figure it should work at this point - but BAM! Linux to the face, it doesn't. (i'm new to this.) When I attempted to send mail, two error messages appeared in /var/spool/mail/root. I am using CentOS with no GUI.
