when i install from apt-get nfs-common, i get error
E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'multiarch-support'. Please see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)
I have apt-get update & apt-get upgrade & apt-get install -f
but no good results.

That's a new one.

I'd check to make sure that there were no packages in need of repair. This article might help.

I found this about the error message.
