Unhappy Please Help me...I accedently deleted /var/cache/coolkey folder from server....


Hi ,

I was working on server and accedently deleted /var/cache/coolkey folder from location...

I didnt even checked whts inside that..

For now i have checked same folder on another server and accordingly created same with same permissions too....

Please help me what could be the effects...

It looks like it logs smart card identity data:

My guess, based on the above link and a general knowledge of how these sorts of things work, is that some users might have to have their coolkey credentials reestablished.

It's also possible that, if some persons have access to the server from which you got the back up but do NOT have access to the first server, copying the cache over might raise some security holes.

If the same persons have the same access under the same servers, my guess is that things might be okay.

Note that I'm just speculating here and have no specific knowledge of Coolkey.
