I am trying to create a Web form that will allow people to create folders on my web server that they can upload documents to. ---This is an internal web server to our company used for Client information storage so I am not worried about anyone getting "unauthorized access".---

I am trying to set something up with PHP so that you fill out the form, and once you submit the form it will take the Project Name(from the form) and use that variable to create the folder named the exact same thing.

I am wondering if it is possible to make the directory with PHP, or if I would have to use a shell script? If I have to use a shell script how would I get the web variable to come through to the script?
