PHP 5.2.8 on CentOS 5.5

Hello Linux lovers!

I was trying to update my site to the new versrion moodle 2.0 (www.moodle.org). But I have the following error:

Sorry, Moodle 2.0 requires PHP 5.2.8 or later (now with version 5.1.6).
Please update your server software or install the latest version of Moodle 1.9.x instead.

I have tried

yum-y update php

but he says:
nothing to do in PHP is the latest version.

I have installed only the official repositories
What could I do?

You could try the EPEL repo http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL, but note also that RH backports a lot of functionality, so you may want to check the Release notes first.

EPEL : No php, I think. ( But lots of php extensions.)

The Remi repo has php-5.3.3

http://rpms.famillecollet.com/enterp...-release-5.rpm

The Jasonlitka repo : php-5.2.13
