permissons changing on files in openssl
I'm setting up openssl for SAN certificates. When I run openssl for regular self sign certificates everything work fine. However when I'm trying to generate SAN by using the openssl config which is setup for SAN I run into a problem. When I run the command, the certificates get generate but there are duplicates certificates in the newcerts directory. One will be the name I have assigned, the other the serial number. Also the index.txt and serial files are set at 600 but after running my command it changes the permission on those two files and also creates backups. Then when you go to do another SAN certificate it will not work at all until you chmod index.txt and serial back to 600. The area I generate the regular self signed is located in one directory up in CA. Everything works correctly in that directory. I even have tried moving the SAN config into CA and run it out of there but it still does the same thing.
