performance difference between virtualbox, vm ware, microsoft virtual PC 2007

Hi there,

I was just wondering what the difference between virtualbox, vm ware & microsoft virtual PC 2007 is? performance wise? or is it just a few features here and there?

I tested all three recently.

VM Ware: Had severe problem installing it. It's also very huge.

Virtual PC 2007: Extremely slow. Especially when accessing the CD/DVD Drive. When installing Linux on a Virtual Machine from the physical drive, it takes ages. The work around is using an ISO image file. I could get the sound system up and running and the overall performance was poor

Virtual Box: Worked out of the box. Impressive fast and easy to install. Every thing works fine, even the sound system emulation. Sometime the network doesn't work, but after a reboot it always works. Last, but not least: The install size is very small (5 times smaller than VMWare)
