Password change operation fails using SSSD against Oracle/Sun Directory Server fails
I'm running Sun DSEE 6.3 under Solaris 10.
I just migrated my Linux LDAP clients from Centos 5.8 to 6.5
As we know, newer RHEL/Centos versions now use SSSD for authentication with LDAP server.
However, change password by user always fails with this error:
$ ssh ldap_user@int1
ldap_user@int1's password:
Password expired. Change your password now.
Last login: Tue Jan 10 13:56:16 2012 from localhost
WARNING: Your password has expired.
You must change your password now and login again!
Changing password for user ldap_user.
Current Password:
New password:
Retype new password:
Password change failed. Server message: Error in search for entry "oid=1.3.6.1.4.1.4203.1.11.1,cn=features,cn=config".
passwd: Authentication token manipulation error
Connection to int1 closed.
Anyone had the same issue before?
Currently, I don't have a Red Hat support account to search their KB's.
