Question parameter /etc/logrotate.conf


Hi,

Could someone help me with the options which are in bold in /etc/logrotate.conf

/var/log/htmlaccess.log
{ 

errors jim
notifempty

nocompress
weekly

prerotate
/usr/bin/chattr -a /var/log/htmlaccess.log
endscript

postrotate
/usr/bin/chattr +a /var/log/htmlaccess.log
endscript
