Oracle RAC on VMware (red hat 5.5)


Hi,

i am to setup 2 NODE cluster for Oracle RAC in VMware environment running in Redhat 5.5 x86_64, we are using storage from EMC symmetrix.

how to configure multipathing in both NODE? i am new to linux.

Your storage folks should set you up with two separate set of RDMs which are then sync'ed and split across the two servers. You can then scan the LUNs in using lpfc, apart of glibcorekit, and a restart of multipath should list your new luns
