Read the "Question Guidelines" link in my posting signature. We will be happy to help you with SPECIFIC questions, but asking us to look up and/or re-type a step-by-step guide for you is fairly rude. Since you found THIS site with an Internet search, try putting in "how to set up openldap with sasl authentication on centos 7" into Google.

AMAZINGLY, the first four hits are:
https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/tuto...sasl-openldap/
http://www.learnitguide.net/2016/01/...-on-rhel7.html
https://www.server-world.info/en/not...S_7&p=openldap
https://www.certdepot.net/rhel7-conf...er-connection/

...step-by-step guides.

Thanks TB0ne for your quick reply.

I had already done that before posting in the forum.
I didn't find any relevant information for my requirement. I am specifically looking for LDAP running on port 636 with SASL enabled.

Then why didn't you say what you've done/tried before posting??? Your question indicated you did nothing.

Then you need to try to read and understand the documentation. Port 636 is, by DEFAULT, the port for SSL connections in LDAP. Again, the openLDAP documentation is ample on how to configure openLDAP with SASL:
http://www.openldap.org/doc/admin24/sasl.html

...as well as how to specify a different listening port for openLDAP. Reading the man page on slapd will also tell you how to specify the openLDAP listening port upon startup.
