One Database Server How-to

Hello

I have lots of web application on my office and Im using MySQL database
is there a way that i can use one server of mysql database that all my web application server would be connected in one database server only.

i tried to setup and im doing like this since there is a localhost address and port 3306, and database username and password.

everytime i setup new web application and point to other MySQL database server machine its giving me an error.

it seems like my connection was not found in the network
Im using ip address instead the localhost

for example:

Connection: 192.168.1.110
DB Port: 3306
BD User: root
Password: examplepassword
DB Name: exampledatabase

I hope everybody can understand what im trying to say.

thanks and regards to all
Merry christmas

well there's nothing at all interesting in having a centralised db server, but you've not even told us what the error actually is. try telnetting to port 3306 and see if that connects, if so then there's no network issues at all and the problem will be within the servers themselves.
