Ok, time issue


Ok, I set date and hwclock....stopped ntpd...AND deleted adjtime...and the time still keep reseting after 15 minutes or so. PLUS the adjtime file reappears. How can I keep the dang time running 10 minutes behind? Any help? thanks.

What the heck are you trying to do? Your hardware clock and system time should be set to UTC and run NTP to keep it locked. If you want your desktop clock to be offset 10 minutes from local time, then make your own custom timezone file called KST (Kenny Standard Time) and set your environment to use that.
