nwn gameserver problem
 

Hello guys i got a bit of a problem here, when i run a neverwinter nights gameserver on my slackware 11 box it runs fine, but if i do that on the same boxes chroot jail, without or with proc mounted within jail, the servers start up, are detected by my game client yet i hang while connecting to them everytime, and gamespy querries fail to communicate with servs aswell. moving the server dirs out of the chroot jail fixes this.
btw i also have grsec patched kernel

While hanging is a good symptom (like with active FTP allowing port TCP/21 but not TCP/20), it doesn't give me enough clues. Asserting you know how to jail an application properly (with respect to dependencies), what you could post is (debug) logging by the service itself (like it loads OK, notices clients, any errors), network logging (access being denied to certain ports, IP addresses or ranges) and in case you set GRSecurity access restrictions you better have it log everything as well. Maybe that'll help.
