Lightbulb NTP can't use its local time as its time reference !


Hi,
I use Debian Lenny .I installed NTP server on my debian and take following changes to /etc/ntp.conf

server 127.127.1.0
fudge 127.127.1.0 stratum 10


but when I try to sync time from clients I cant and I see following error message :

no suitable server found for synchronization

please help me

yep, you need a time source that's genuine, i.e. online or from a radio time source in your own environment. If this really is not possible then you should have a look at orphan more in the ntp.conf configs to better handle using an isolated time source, but it's a pretty horrible place to be.
