Not able to read mail on server


Hello,

I have installed sendmail in my VPS machine, while i am sending mail from root to other user, i am able to send the mail. but the other user is not able to read the mail.

it is giving the following error:
/var/spool/mail/root: Permission denied
please help

Hi,

Please check, but the sendmail user (maybe mail or something else) must have perms to write this file.
Check the owner of this file:

ls -la /var/spool/mail/

[]'s
