Hi,

I am not able to access graphical mode on Redhat enterprise server 5, It gives following error when i try to access.

Failed to start the X server(your graphical interace) it is likely that is not set up correctly. Would you like to view X server output to diagnose the problem?

The error is as it's displayed. You haven't set up your X windows environment correctly. Either your monitor, keyboard, or mouse is not correct, and X can't start.

The log file you need to check is the /var/log/xorg.0.log. Look for the lines that have the EE by them...those are the errors. A brief Google search turns up:
