Nmon Stopped working after adding CPU's in RHEL 5.5
As the title says, we just updated our 3 node prod cluster from 24 cores to 64 cores. Now nmon will not gather data on the cpu utilization. It shows "please wait gathering data" when you type nmon, then hit the 'c' character for current CPU. It does show two different screens, The first screen has always been usual, the "Gathering data" screen, then it just shows "nan" for all the values. I attached a screenshot and am willing to give more information, this behavior is occurring across all 3 nodes in this cluster.
Although, we also had another cluster we upgraded from 16 to 24 cores.. yet no nmon impact.
Is there something nmon can't handle with a specific number of cores?
Here is info on the processor from /proc/cpuinfo(this is processor 64, all identical)
