NIS help.


when i ypcat group.byname from either the server or a client, i get nothing. i have it being built by the Makefile. i can ypcat passwd fine. I am able to log in, i just done have the groups that i have on the server. I am running Slackware 11.0. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried just doing a ypcat group? Don't know, but either works for me on Solaris (not linux, I know, but the principle is the same).
