NFS - user home directories based on environments.

Remove post. I figured it out by getting some much needed sleep and simplifying the issue.

Thank you.

What do you mean by 'environment'? In Linux/UNIX, the term environment has a very specific meaning, and your usage of the term is not consistent with that meaning. Are you referring to directory names? Group ID names? Something else entirely of your own contrivance?
When composing questions it is prudent not to misuse terminology in common usage or to invent your own terminology when applicable terminology already exists, in order to avoid confusion. Your phrase 'home directory will be mounted on all four environments' makes no sense, and forces the reader to guess what it means. I will guess that it means that an 'environment' is a remote host/hostname, and each such host will mount a specific NFS share or export, depending on some group membership. This, however, is also nonsensical, since filesystem mounts are global to an entire host, and a host can presumably have users in multiple group memberships.

Please clarify your question.
